Promising jump jockey Lorcan Williams who works for Paul Nicholls has received a suspended prison sentence after injuring a motorcyclist when he fell asleep at the wheel of his car. Williams, 18 years old, has ridden ten winners this season, he was sentenced to 16 months in prison which was suspended for two years. He was also disqualified from driving for 2 years and ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work, he appeared at Bristol Crown Court.
