Perardua Pleases On Debut

Our Richard Fahey trained 2 year old filly, Perardua put in a pleasing debut on Saturday evening.

From a poor draw Perardua was quickly away but ran green throughout and got outpaced but kept on well to finish third only beaten just over 2 lengths by two horses with more experience.

The Racing Post were also impressed and commented: “Perardua turned in a pleasing debut and, like most Richard Fahey juveniles, will improve for the run”

Perardua isn’t bred to be a 5f sprinter and that makes the performance even more pleasing.

It was a proud moment for the Diamond racing team, this is the first horse to have been produced from our breeding program and to see the filly progress from foal to yearling to racehorse is a great experience.
