Exciting Dalaman Heads To Cheltenham

Promising 3yr old Dalaman followed up a pleasing debut at Exeter with an impressive victory in the Junior bumper at Towcester in the hands of Michael Byrne.

With ground conditions very testing Dalaman was settled in a close third and travelled strongly throughout the race but Michael Byrne wasn’t happy with the pace and sent Dalaman around the outside to challenge the leaders around 5f from and home. That move move quickly took most off the bridle and it was left to Dalaman and the David Pipe trained Kalifourchon to battle it out approaching 3f from home by 2f out Dalaman appeared in complete control and was pushed out hands and heels up the hill to record an eight length victory.

Dalaman will now head to Cheltenham on New Years Day for a listed bumper.
